My passion is finding the value hidden in your strategy
I certainly have the breadth and depth needed to support you.
You will find my CV on LinkedIn for details. Well, I have all the leadership and functional skills as well as the experience which you will acquire after 20 successful years in multiple senior management roles. As Member of the Management Board of a 2,200-person industrial company. As Member of the Senior Management Group of a 25,000-person agrochemical multinational. (Long time ago…) as project manager in a major management consultancy. Mainly in Business Development, Strategy, Marketing, R&D, Finance, IT and Operational Efficiency. Always outperforming. While gradually discovering my true talent and passion.
My unique talent? To identify the ‘Gold Veins’ to fully realize your strategy/initiative. To simplify them. To ensure execution.
I love to work across boundaries, functions, geographies, hierarchies. To connect what others don’t, won’t and sometimes can’t see. To translate between worlds that have a tough time communicating. Being trained as scientist, engineer and business economist allows me to identify where the true value is hidden, what is crucial to deliver the strategy/initiative, to differentiate between the ‘also important’ and the crucial ‘Gold Veins’.
And then comes execution, the other passion of mine. Strategy is worth nothing without on-the-ground delivery; I take execution very personally, it’s always at the center of my thinking and not a mere afterthought. I have a sixth sense for the psyche of an organization, for what is required to enable an organization and its people to deliver a strategy. A key aspect is to first simplify the Gold Veins to the utmost degree, and then to plan for a super-pragmatic implementation. In order to decrease implementation risk and ensure the intended value creation. Simplifying the Gold Veins and defining the right way to implement them is at least as important as identifying the Gold Veins in the first place.
With me you find a personality who likes a good strategy/initiative, but who’s passion it is to deliver it, 100% or more. I personally can’t stand strategies anymore which look great on paper but, with hindsight, haven’t delivered, again. Day in, day out I will burn to not let this happen in your strategy/initiative.
And should I fail to deliver, you don’t pay me, as clear as that. That is also me.
